01.Poglina,

Going north, after some mile of rocky coast, you will find the beach of Poglina, located inside Griecas cove. This one is quite little and difficult to reach, so you should visit it with a local people such as guide.

Northwards, there is the little beach of Burantì, reachable only by sea.
03.Speranza,

The first beach that visitors can appreciate, when starting from the south coast of Alghero, is Speranza Beach; since a strong wind often blows, this is a very funny place for lovers of waves, which can be until 2 meters high.

05.Canal de l'Home Mort,

The bay of Canal dell'Omo Molt, in english Dead Man’s Channel, can be reached along the SP49 road from Bosa; just a few kilometres before getting to Alghero, you need to follow a dirt track.
This bay boasts a natural swimming pool with bright shining colours that range from emerald green to cobalt blue. The water laps a rugged coast of light grey hues, with rocks poking out every now and then.
There is a small car park. Ideal destination for those who wish to dive into an underwater world, armed with mask and aqualungs.
06.Calabona,

It can be reached along the SP 49 road, turning on a by-way right before the inhabited centre of Alghero.
Its name is due to its perfect sheltered location, which has always offered shelter for small boats. It is made up of a series of pleasant little bays of limestone rock.
You can find a car park, a hotel, a restaurant and bar.

Found in the commune of Alghero, the beach of Las Tronas owes its name to the throne shape of two cylindrical rocks located on the coastal stretch. It is divided in two by the Art Nouveau style Hotel Villas Las Tronas, which separates the bay from that of Las Tronas 2. The beach extends in a wide arc, partly framed by a little promontory coloured by the green of the bushes and trees. Flat rocks poke out every now and then from the water, which comprises chromatic shades ranging between blue and green. These two neighbouring beaches can be reached along the Valencia seafront.
The beach of Las Tronas 1 is dominated by the hotel with the same name and has facilities like a restaurant and a bar.
The Las Tronas 2
Beach offers the convenience of the hotel but also has a bar and restaurant. You can hire deck-chairs and beach umbrellas or “patino” boats.

Large and covered with fine white sand, lapped by a sea with extraordinary shades of blue, it is easily reached from the town centre. In fact just follow the signs for the Lido, and then take the Busquet promenade: the bay stretches out between Via Garibaldi and Via Lido, to the north of the inhabited centre. Also called Lido Novelli because there is an old seaside resort, build in the middle of the last century.

One of the most suggestive beach on the Alghero coast, it has fine powdery sand with tiny shining white grains. Bordered by a pine forest, this one is a great favourite because it is so large and also for the extraordinary colour of the sea, as well as for its numerous facilities. Found in the commune of Alghero, it can be easily reached from the historic centre of the little town, going towards Fertilia along the Viale I maggio.

Found at Arenosu, in the commune of Alghero, it can be reached along the 127 bis from Fertilia, in direction of Porto Conte, turning on the left before a hotel into an asphalt road. Framed by rocks and Mediterranean shrub, the seashore has fine-grained sand and clean and limpid water.
There is a large car park and a hotel rises right behind the beach.
21.Le Bombarde,

It is reached from Alghero, passed the inhabited area of Fertilia, on the SS 127bis main road; shortly after the 44 kilometre marker are signposts to the beach.
It is for a stretch framed by reddish volcanic rocks on which grows verdant vegetation, while the other side, to the north, is bustling with bathing and hotel complexes. This beach is ideal for families with children because of the gentle slope of the seashore down into the sea and beyond.
There are a cafe and restaurant, and it is possible to rent beach umbrellas, sun-loungers or pedal boats. Camping allowed.
22.Il Lazzaretto,

It can be reached from Fertilia taking the 125 bis, in direction of Porto Conte, and turning left at the sign indicating the Scuba School and the Diving Centre.
The Lazzaretto Beach owes its name to the tower that dominates the bay. Framed by sandstone rocks and a verdant area that separates it from the Bombarde Beach, it has fine grains of light-coloured sand and is lapped by a sea painted with a thousand shades of blue.
There is a huge camp site where camper vans can also stay. The beach has wheelchair access, a hotel, a bar and restaurant. Beach hire is available for deck-chairs and beach umbrellas; “patino” boats can also be hired or you can play beach-volleyball.

Found at Porto Conte, it can be reached along the Provincial Road 55, 8 km before Capo Caccia.
Characterised by white sand and emerald green water, Mugoni is a beautiful large beach, surrounded by a luxuriant pine forest. Thanks to its sheltered position from the winds, water is calm and warm.
There is a large car park and an area for camping. A hotel and various refreshment points are found here. You can also hire a “patino” boat and explore this part of the coast. When wind blows, it is great for surfing and wind-surfing. The beach has easy wheelchair access.
28.Baia di Porto Conte o delle Ninfe,

29.Tramariglio,

Found in a little port with the same name in the commune of Alghero, it can be reached along the SP55 road in the direction of Capo Caccia.
The beach of Tramariglio, with its cream-coloured sand lapped by a clear transparent sea, is dominated by the XVI century Spanish Tower, built in limestone ashlars and set on the top of the promontory.
This furthermost western stretch of the bay of Porto Conte has a tourist port and a Nautical Club.
There are some natural attractions, first of all because Griffons have nested on the walls of the Cristallo Headland, which fall sheer down to the Tramariglio sea. Furthermore, a forest stretches out behind the beach, hosting a splendid animal repopulation area known as “Le Prigionette”, where live fine species of animals, such as mouflons and the ponies of the Giara.
There is a hotel and a centre where you can hire a “patino” boat to explore this stretch of coast.
30.Dragunara,

Found at Capo Caccia, it is reached along the SP 55, after going past the turning for Capo Caccia, and turning into a dirt road on the left
Covered by fine golden sand, the beach of Dragunara is dominated by the imposing promontory of Capo Caccia, which closes the gulf of Porto Conte to the west. The sea, studded with ravines, is particularly limpid and clear, with wonderful shades that range from blue to emerald green.
There is a little port which provides mooring for the boats that run trips to the nearby Neptune’s Cave. The beach has a small car park and wheelchair access. You can hire deck chairs and beach umbrellas , as well as make use of the refreshment point.

32.Porto Ferro,

Porto Ferro is reachable along the 55 bis, turning at the signs for Porto Ferro.
Set on the northern border of the Corallo riviera, it stretches for around 2 km, dominated by three Spanish look-out towers dating back to the XVII century. Its sand is ochre-coloured and mixed with shells. The beach is framed by a pine grove that reaches the nearby lake of Baratz, the only natural lake in the whole of Sardinian.
Porto Ferro boasts a large car park and a camping area. Easy wheelchair access.
33.Torre del Porticciolo,

It is reached by going along the SP 55bis provincial road to Sassari.
Cala di Porticciolo is a picturesque bay, dominated by the seventeenth-century lookout tower of Porticciolo. Two areas of high ground rise to the sides, covered by bushes and trees. Sand becomes particularly light-coloured near the water’s edge.
It has a campsite and a hotel nearby, along with a cafe and restaurant.
